Our funds at work: Project 208 FC

Project 208 FC is dedicated to developing strength and character in female athletes through the sport of soccer.  Pairing a competitive training program with unique mentorship opportunities, Project 208 FC is the only all-girls soccer club in the Wood River Valley for players ages 5 to 18.  Their aim is to foster a sense of community, to give our girls a safe and supportive environment in which to grow and find lifelong joy in sport. They just kicked off their fall draft league in September where they had girls aged 4-14 playing soccer all afternoon at Atkinson Park. 5B Kids Fund funded Project 208 FC with $2000 towards their costs associated with implementing their programs including field rentals, equipment and coaching costs.

Come find out more about 5B Kids Fund! Anyone can join our monthly meetings where we have the opportunity to hear from local youth serving groups about their needs and respond to their requests for funds to allow to them to complete their missions! At our next meeting on October 19th we'll be hearing from Wood River Cheer, Blaine County Education Foundation and Camp Rainbow Gold. Get details here: https://www.5bkidsfund.org/events
