A cherished tradition since 1957, the Kindercup marks the end of the winter season with a free ski and snowboard race for ages 3 to 13. New and experienced racers from across the Wood River Valley compete on the slopes of Dollar Mountain with cheering fans along the sidelines. This event creates an opportunity for first-time racers to give skiing the gates a try! Held each March at Dollar Mountain in Sun Valley, the event welcomes more than 200 junior skiers and snowboarders and over 300 cheering spectators. 

This free community event is made possible by the teamwork of 5B Kids Fund volunteers, Sun Valley Company employees, and SVSEF staff and coaches.
