What to Know

All racers must be pre-registered ONLINE. There is NO registration on race day.

  • Online registration closes Thursday, February 26 at 9:00 p.m.

Check In and Bib Pick Up:

  • You must be present with your child to complete sign-in between 8:30 - 9:30 at the sign-in tables at Carol's Dollar Mountain Lodge to confirm your arrival and pick up your child’s race bib.

  • Parent must sign the release form prior to the close of online registration to ensure participation. (See link below)

  • Racers using the chairlift will need a lift ticket.

​​Schedule:

  • We will start at 10:00, and do our best to adhere to that schedule but ask that you be flexible and go with the flow. It is your responsibility to know when to be at the racecourse. Please listen to the announcer, and check in with the coaches at the top of the courses.

  • We encourage everyone to dress up. Costumes make everything more fun and festive, and the kids like them too! There will be a costume contest right before the awards ceremony.

 Parking and shuttle bus:

  • There is NO Short-Term parking at the front entrance of Carol's Dollar Mountain Lodge.

  • Parking is available at the Sun Valley Pavilion parking lot and the Mountain Rides shuttle bus runs approximately every 20 minutes.  

Spectators:

  • There is no uphill foot traffic allowed on Course A.

  • Dogs are not allowed on Dollar Mountain during operating hours.

Supporting the race:

​​Awards:

  • Every child will receive a pin when they turn in their bib after the race. There will be an awards ceremony after the race (approximately 12:00- 12:30) and awards will be given to the top three racers in each category.
